Typical

Yesterday I sent John upstairs for his Bee, as we were about to go somewhere. A couple minutes later, after not hearing anything, I went to the stairs. He was partway down again, and said "Mommy, what am I doing upstairs?"

He gets this strain from both sides: Daddy, just by being a male, and Mommy, who has a memory like a sieve.

HA! That's so funny. I can totally picture it...and i so relate to it, being from the Horn family and having my own 'what was i doing?' moments.

Naomi doesn't seem to exhibit this yet...though she does get easily distracted. if she's supposed to walk across the room to get her shoes - she'll come back with a crayon and a book wearing a hat!

That's great - nice to know that he fits in with the rest of us!
