Awesome! I love cut-outs!

It's actually a pancake mold that Jessica gave John for his birthday this year. It's kind of messy and batter usually sticks. Christopher decided he wanted it for bread with butter (a staple in our house), and it worked great! The bottom of the mask fits right into the curves of the top of the slice of bread!

Nice!
Jessica will be excited when she sees this.
That's a great adaptation of the device!

Hooray! I'm glad you've found an even better use for them. I have thought some times about using slightly larger metal cookie cutters to cut sandwiches into shapes, but I haven't ever tried to see if it would work. Bread with butter may be the best thing to do instead of trying to get too fancy...

I think it would work with PB&J, but it doesn't really cut the bread, it sort of just mashes it... then I use a knife or tear around the outside of the cookie cutter. That's why this was is actually good, because it doesn't have a complicated outer shape. And you don't lose too much bread as you do with star-shapes.

Sorry for the error in my previous post. Points to you if you find it.

You called it a cookie cutter.

Can I exchange my points for air miles?

Ha! You can have air miles* for that, but that wasn't the one I spotted. "That's why this WAS IS actually..."

*Air miles not good during black out dates. Black out dates: November 12, 2013-November 11, 2097.
