Here is John with his own pizza. He kneaded the dough, rolled it out, pricked it with a fork, spread butter on the crust with a pastry brush, and sprinkled it with cheese.

Here is John with some pigs in blanket. I showed him how to do one and then he did the rest (15 more) by himself. It was great!

One of the tricks is to catch his attention long enough to show him before he leaps in to do it himself... Teach a man to fish...

That's fantastic! I want him on my team for the Pensacola cook-off...
LOL. Done.
Mmmmm! Pigs in blankets! Now if Nicholas could learn to make those!
fantastic! nice to have a helper and great for him to learn a new skill. everybody wins!
btw: yet again unbelievable timing for "Chef John" b/c a couple days ago I concocted an idea for "Chef Naomi Night"...Naomi planned her dinner on Friday, we went to the grocery store for ingredients on Saturday and she 'cooked' her meal on Sunday. i guess i shouldn't be surprised since (a) we're sisters and (b) john and naomi are the same age. i still get tickled every time though!
Just think of how in sync Danielle/Daphne and Christopher will be!
