That last picture is crazy - I didn't realize they did that. So is the little sensor on his head measuring something when the tone plays? How can they tell that he's hearing it?
In addition to the lead on his forehead, there is one on the nape of his neck and one on his back. They measure brain activity.
He passed the hearing test, by the way. Both ears are functioning.
