It is so much fun to watch him at work.
Was he singing a song at one point? (shortly after he dumped a shovel full next to the big hole and said "whooaaa")
Yes - I enjoyed the drama of "is he going to shovel the sand onto the towel???"
By the way, how long did it take him to dig that big hole?
The big hole is a mystery to which we do not yet have an answer.
I like to think it is a clutch of sea turtle eggs, but it's too early in the season to be that.
We did dig several small holes, bury the trowels themselves, and see some jellyfish, though.
Global warming, baby. The sea turtles are probably as confused as the rest of us.
But that was very performance-art of John to bury the trowels themselves...that's deep, man, deep...forget saving for Harvard, you need to save up to support him until he's 45, if he's going to be an artist...
