These are the days of our lives

Toothbrushing is one of those things that it is SO great to have a big brother to demonstrate!

John's tooth routine includes "bluetooth" rinse, flossing, and brushing. None of it is very thorough, but all the pieces are there...

Seriously?!?! John flosses? I am going to call BS on that one...

The little pink thing he's holding is a flosser. Like I said, he's not thorough, but he does floss. Sometimes if we want to make sure it's done right (and between each tooth), we do it. Ditto with brushing.

impressive! i'm inspired...

so how long does the whole process take for john? minutes or ten's of minutes?!? i ask, b/c it seems like naomi can stretch ANYTHING out to 20+ minutes - so it's daunting to me to think about going through that every day...especially when she's going to loose all those baby teeth anyways! ;) (kidding...sort of)

We don't do it every night. Usually 3-5 nights a week. It takes about 7-10 minutes. If he's tired, it takes longer because he's ornery, sometimes he likes to do it without us there.

He has to do it after he puts on his PJs (or sometimes before) but BEFORE we read books.

The blue tooth rinse, which turns his teeth blue for him to brush off, got him started on actually doing it himself.

Christopher is very blessed to have such a great big brother!

The blue rinse sounds really cool - can you put it on your face and look like Braveheart?
