I pushed hard for "Fantastic Voyage," "Voyage Under the Sea," or "Extraordinary Adventures of Blanc-Sec." Next time I'm picking. Got to get these kids to branch out... So far they've liked everything I've picked in the past, they just resist at first...

Nice surveillance photo! Looks like it was taken from the hidden camera in the display - just like in 1984!
It appears they all liked the movie pretty well, even if you didn't get to pick it...
That is the vantage point, although I took the picture with my phone.
They usually enjoy whatever is on, but I've had several successes with alternative titles, scrounged from the bowels of Netflix... sometimes we get Redbox DVDs if we get a coupon for them.
I think they had all seen this one so often they spent most of the time commenting to the screen and replaying the scenes.
Have you tried any Miyazaki with them? Problem is finding it, I guess... It doesn't seem to be available to stream anywhere.
