Tempus fugit part 2

John went to his cardiologist today and passed with flying colors.  After the ultrasound the doctor said a bunch of stuff to us that I didn't quite catch, but each thing ended with "....looks great!"  We go back for another checkup in 2 years!

On July 24th John will have a check-up with his cardiologist.  It's been 2 years since his last check-up.  We'll let you know what Dr. Malpass says.

Kindergarten Graduation Part 2

Then each individual child came to the front, told us something that they learned during the year (John is hard to understand, he said "I learned addition"), and lead the class in one of their songs.  John lead "The Leprechaun Song."  Lyrics are below...

I'm a little leprachaun dressed in green,

The tiniest man that you've ever seen.

If you ever catch me so I'm told,

I'll give you my pot of gold.

THEN, the class sang Drifing Away to the tune of Tell Me More from Grease...

Alabama trip

On our way to the beach in Alabama, we made a couple of stops.  First the Georgia Aquarium where Christopher saw some rays...

Then in Tuscaloosa we made a stop at the Children's Hands-On Museum...

The next day the kids went swimming.  We didn't have swim suits on hand, so we made do with what we had...

Finally we made it to the beach house.  John and Christopher saw cousin Naomi from Texas and got to meet their newest cousin from overseas...
