Party weekend slide show

These pictures are from the weekend of June 21-22. John was invited to the birthday party of Luke, who is the (now) 3-year-old son of friends of ours from the university. Luke has the same birthday as John, just one year earlier.

That party was at Barrett's Place Playground on Saturday morning. It was very fun and went very well, especially considering there were about 10 toddlers there!

The other pics are mostly from John's birthday party on the 22nd. It was in and out of our house and was very fun and successful. We mostly just threw it together during his nap that day, and you know how sometimes the decisions made on the shortest notice often work the best!

The sleepy time pics are from that Sunday night. I just included them because they are cute, and he has his new Lofty toy (which was part of the Bob Workshop gift from Mommy and Daddy).

Two things about John's birthday each year. Friend and neighbor Perrin always reminds us (and rightly so) that it is also the anniversary of our being parents. Two years and counting! Also, we are SOOOOOO fortunate to have great neighbors and friends! We love them all!

[PS, put your cursor on the picture, and you will see the caption. You have to do it for each one. None of the captions are life-altering, but I tried to identify people in the shots!]

Malpass

Here are some more pictures from our lives.
The first is the latest trip to see Dr. Malpass the cardiologist. There is a TV over the examination bed, so he was watching Bob the Builder the whole time, about 30 minutes or so...

Oconee Airport Fly-in, part 3

If you looks closely, you can see the small heads of John and James in the fire truck.

The big "finale" was a jump by three sky divers. It was kind of cool and kind of anti-climactic.

Oconee Airport Fly-in, part 2

They also had local fire trucks, classic cars, and emergency vehicles. We saw our friends, Mark and James, there.

James really liked to watch the planes landing.

Oconee Airport Fly-in, part 1

Several weeks ago, the Oconee County Airport had a "Fly-in" that benefited a local humane society (not sure which one). About 30 small planes and helicopters from all over flew in and parked for everyone to look at.
